A chilling video of a summary execution, sent by the kidnappers, radically changes the situation.

Episode 3
Elected president of the HCIH, Suzanne's triumph is short-lived: no solution seems to be in sight for the release of the hostages, and revelations about her past are leaked to the press. Suzanne and Guillaume decide to travel to Saudi Arabia in the hope of making contact with the kidnappers. While Kessel negotiates with the Saudi authorities, Suzanne crosses the border into Yemen to parley with the controversial General Khalili.

Episode 4
A look back at the fate of Mathias Adler: after returning to Geneva following the attack that claimed the president's life, the ICRC delegate was sent back to Yemen to close the delegation. Kidnapped by an armed group, Mathias is held in almost complete isolation. Subjected to abuse, overcome by anxiety and nightmares, he tries to escape his memories as well as his captors.

Episode 5
Having failed to bring back the hostages, Suzanne's return to Geneva proves difficult: while the press and the Council of the Assembly of the HCIH lash out against her presidency, she suddenly loses the support of Guillaume Kessel. Meanwhile, in the desert mountains of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, a fratricidal battle rages between the two sons of the Saudi foreign minister, Akim and Walid al Farouk. While Akim tries everything he can to find Mathias Adler, Suzanne, in Switzerland, decides to confront her biological father.

Episode 6
Disowned by his family and rejected by the Swiss authorities, Akim has nowhere to go. That's when Adi Lipp makes him an unexpected offer. The noose is tightening around Kessel, whose terrible secret could well be revealed! At Mathias' bedside, Suzanne realizes that to win the humanitarian battle, she will have to get her hands dirty for the first time and behave like a politician. The moment of reckoning has come.
