Suhan is feeling growing suspicion that his father in involved in much wrongdoing. Cahide manages to continue the pregnancy charade and reveal the baby to be a boy. We become privy to Adalat's memories: at the age of sixteen, in reaction to abuse from her orphanage director and with the help of Tahsin Korludag, Adalat ends up killing the corrupt orphanage director as well as Cesur's father, Hasan Karahasanoglu who arrives at the scene accidentally on the same night.
