Gesha Korostylev works as a security guard in the regional administration and is raising a daughter with his wife, Lucy. He has endured ridicule from others all his life, because he has achieved nothing. Everything changes when Gesha finds out that his great-grandfather was Colonel Caesar. The fact that the stress falls on another syllable does not bother the guard, because he has already guessed that he is descended from the famous Roman commander. Gesha decides that the "descendant" of the legendary personality cannot live as before, so he leaves home, meets love in the person of businesswoman Cleopatra and finds a new vocation — to help the villagers.
