Nick Luck introduces the second of York's high quality four-day summer festival. Fillies are to the fore today, with the £340,000 Yorkshire Oaks taking centre stage over 12 furlongs. The main support is the £200,000 Lowther Stakes, which usually produces some of the best two-year old fillies of the season. York: 1.55, 2.30, 3.05 and 3.40pm.
