Chantal - Season 3

The police chief, Cloedt, D'Haese and Meeuws are broken into. The burglaries bear the signature of De Slimmen, a dangerous criminal who flew behind bars 15 years ago.

The Smart Ones plays a game that speaks. Having a police inspector kidnapped proves that he has no scruples and wants to make his power felt. Chantal is not intimidated and conducts an investigation that leads to a surprising denouement.

When the star player of KVC Loveringem is roughly tackled and the only link is a jacket from the WC Warriors, Chantal inevitably runs into an old acquaintance. She calls in the help of D'Haese and his new partner Pit.

Two neighbors make each other's lives miserable because of a woman. When the situation escalates, Chantal feels obliged to intervene. But then the woman appears to have disappeared. At home, Emma is annoyed by the new dad Arne wants to be too much.

The chapel in honor of the son of Zatte Mia and Roger who was run over has been smashed to pieces. Chantal promises to investigate the case thoroughly. Everything points to Jesse Vroman, the son of Danny Vroman who ran over Kurtje thirty years ago.

An old eccentric living near the French border threatens a housing inspector with his two-barreled gun. Chantal believes the man should be helped, rather than prosecuted. But then a body is found on his property.

Schietekatte is being blackmailed. His reputation is faltering. That this case must be handled with the utmost discretion is beyond dispute. An ideal job for Chantal, the chief of police thinks, who surprisingly sidelines the detectives in this way.

Now that the blackmailer is known, a major operation is set up to ensnare him. A great responsibility for Chantal who wants to prove with this operation that she can handle these kinds of situations just as well or perhaps even better than D'Haese and Co.
