Episode 20

The new series continues. From crumbling ceilings to time-worn turrets, British families discover what it takes to buy and renovate beautiful chateaux in France. In the stunning Landes region, at Château Larribau, Paul and Julia are in the throes of a major hallway renovation. They have a delicate crystal chandelier to hang, walls and ceilings to decorate, and valuable antique furniture to restore before it's complete. Meanwhile, at Château Domaine de la Barde, Tim and Krys are eager to revamp their abandoned orangery. Tim wants to transform the neglected space into a stunning events venue, but the weather is causing flooding issues. And in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Hutson family need to chop down a huge ash tree that's precariously close to their ancient greenhouse.
