The new series continues. From crumbling ceilings to time-worn turrets, British families discover what it takes to buy and renovate beautiful chateaux in France. At Château de Cézérac, in the Lot-et-Garonne region, Jon and Carmen are eager to turn a smoke-damaged room in the 'Pirate's Wing' into a new bedroom. The space requires a total overhaul, and Jon needs to get to grips with centuries-old, mismatched building work. Meanwhile, at the beautiful Château de Lalande, preparations are underway for Stephanie and Philip's magnificent engagement party. And in the Haute-Vienne region, at Château de la Grillère, Sharon and Tim plan to build a large pool house using timber sourced from trees on their estate.
