Episode 29

The new series continues. From crumbling ceilings to time-worn turrets, British families discover what it takes to buy and renovate beautiful chateaux in France. At Château de Lalacelle in Normandy, Terry and Ashley are reinstating their centuries-old formal gardens, but with a kilometre of irrigation to lay, eight huge flower beds to create and over 450 tonnes of gravel to shift, this is gardening on a chateau scale. Meanwhile, it's supposed to be moving-in day for Nick and Nicole at Château des Vieilles Vignes in the Dordogne. But after two years of backbreaking hard work, are they finally ready to settle in? And at Château De La Ruche, Tim and Rebecca want to expand their cutting garden so that their chateau can bloom with fresh flowers.
