Checo Pérez: ¡No te rindas, cabr#n! - Season 1

Sergio Checo Pérez is the most successful Mexican pilot in history. With more than 200 Grand Prix, 30 podiums and 4 victories, in 2023 he aims to be the world champion. Max Verstappen, his adversary and teammate, is two-time world champion and his main opponent. In the Baku Grand Prix, Checo manages to defeat Max in a perfect weekend. After that, in the glamorous Monaco Grand Prix, where Checo won in 2022, victory could finally put him ahead of Max. But things begin to complicate and affect his goal. Checo and his team describe what happened during those days and tell us about Checo's childhood, his time racing Go Karts and the beginning of his love for speed.

After a disastrous crash in Monaco qualifying, Checo starts in last place, leading to one of the worst days of his career and jeopardizing his championship battle against Max. Under the scrutiny of the international press, he fails to qualify in the top ten, and to add to the pressure, Daniel Ricciardo signs as a driver for Alpha Tauri. Checo must fight for his seat at Red Bull and protect his position as second in the championship. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, is closing in on Checo in the standings.

Checo reaches his lowest point and has to show his resilience. Under pressure by Daniel Ricciardo, that could replace him in Red Bull, and by Lewis Hamilton, that is fighting with him for second place, Checo is hardly criticized by the international press. As we recall his past in categories before F1 and his arrival in the top tier, the big circus takes us to the Singapore Grand Prix, one of the street circuits where Checo has already won. And then back home, the Mexican Grand Prix. Checo needs to convince everyone: a good streak could secure a second place, his position at Red Bull, and his future in F1.

After his tragedy in the Mexico Grand Prix, the foreign press continues to criticize him. Checo has to get good results and secure his place in Red Bull, and he will need to do that in a new circuit that is in its first edition in the history of F1: the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Since it's a street circuit, Checo is hopeful to win back his title of "the King of the streets". The Mexican will need to do what few people think it's possible: defeat the seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton and achieve what no other Mexican pilot has achieved before: to become the world vice-champion.
