Synthesis
A year after their first date, fate brings Evan and Gently back together when they run into each other at an art gallery and romantic feelings are rekindled; the chance meeting turns into a wild date night that results in a trip to the hospital.
Oasis
After three months of dating, Evan invites Gently to his parents' 40th anniversary party; what starts out as a lovely evening quickly goes awry when Evan's father has too much to drink and his mother can't hide her contempt for Gently.
Basis
On the hottest day of the year, Evan whisks Gently away to Malibu for a romantic weekend; when the trip hits the rocks, the couple is forced to question their future.
Analysis
Evan takes the day away from his tech company to help Gently make as many wedding decisions as possible, but they realize they have very different expectations for their big day.
Nemesis
Evan's intense work schedule pushes Gently to the edge as he becomes more and more demanding. Things come to a head when Evan asks Gently to put her work on the back burner in order to host an impromptu work dinner for him.
Synopsis
At Evan's urging, he and Gently spend the day shopping for a counselor to help them address their issues, but it soon becomes apparent their problems are deeper than either of them imagined.
Catharsis
Gently hosts a big birthday party for Miss Luma with special guests including her beloved friend, Quincy Jones, but the party really gets started when an unexpected guest shows up.
