Claws - Season 1

Season 1
Set in a South Florida nail salon, Claws is a midnight-dark, wickedly funny meditation on female badness which follows the rise of five diverse and treacherous Florida manicurists at the Nail Artisan of Manatee County Salon, where there is a lot more going on than silk wraps and pedicures. At the center is salon owner Desna, her mentally ill twin brother, Dean, and her staff of four friends.

Tirana
Desna and her girls take pride in doing nails; Desna finds herself entangled in a money laundering scheme; Desna's promise of going clean is complicated when things go south with Roller, leading her and Virginia to take matters into their own hands.

Funerary
Desna and Virginia prepare a cover story to tell the ladies following an entanglement with Roller. Also, Desna's dream salon is falling apart, and Virginia goes missing but returns with a concocted tale that sends Desna on an unforeseen journey.

Quicksand
Virginia's lies deepen as Desna tries to cover their tracks. Meanwhile, Desna is determined to get her dream salon, and Desna and Bryce are in danger of Uncle Daddy's wrath when something goes awry at the clinic.

Fallout
Haunted by recent events with Roller, Desna is doubly desperate to get out from under Uncle Daddy's thumb. Meanwhile, Bryce drifts deeper into the Dixie Mafia, which Jennifer isn't happy about. Polly reunites with her former gold-digging "friend", while Quiet Ann is in a lady-mess of her own. Meanwhile, Dr. Ken finds himself in a world of trouble.

Batshit
Desna and Jennifer may be Dr. Ken's only hope, as Bryce wrongly accuses him of a heinous crime. Dean sees a disturbing billboard ad that hits too close to home, leaving Desna to cope with the dark aftermath. Meanwhile, Virginia and Desna are forced to go to Polly for help to rid the world of two horrible birds from Desna's past, with one well-aimed stone.

Self-Portrait
All of our girls go to their new fancy salon for the first time. They aren't met with the kindness of strangers. Desna and crew decide to compete in Florida's premiere nail design competition for a big cash prize. Feeling left out of the crew, Virginia does something shocking to get some of life's finer things. Jennifer finds out an agonizing secret of Desna's that may destroy their friendship forever.

Escape
After the big nail competition, Desna may finally get out from Uncle Daddy's grasp. Jennifer struggles knowing Desna's dark secret, while Polly discovers her previously unknown maternal instincts. Meanwhile, Dean may have found his first feelings of romantic love and makes a discovery that threatens to destroy everyone he knows and loves.

Teatro
With a shocking revelation affecting the entire crew, Jennifer finds unexpected solace in her square-dancing instructor, Hank. Polly uses all of her powers of bad for good, for the first time, while Quiet Ann is torn about a big decision. Scary times are in store for Virginia, but for Desna most of all.

Ambrosia
With the clock ticking, Desna is scrambling to get out of her worst trouble yet. Determined, she goes searching for the truth with her crew right behind her, save for Jennifer, who is learning how to cope as a Dixie Mafia wife. When Desna's sleuthing hits pay dirt, she goes to the only person who can save her. Time is running out.

Avalanche
Following a harrowing escape from Roller's grasp, Desna is on the run. Roller is close behind, running from the Russians. Dean, Polly and Virginia frantically search for Desna before time runs out. Meanwhile, Jennifer gets more deeply involved with Hank, oblivious to how close her life is to imploding. In the end, only Desna can save Jennifer, Roller, and her crew with a sacrifice greater than any she's ever had to make.
