Four great friends turn a celebration dinner into a complete nightmare; things turn toxic when friendship and envy sit together at the table.

Ana finds out her best friend María has won the Award Letras Ilustres in Spain and has now become a famous, award-winning writer. Tina says bye to her child, and Flora talks about how her sister Ana cooked and arranged a dinner to honor María. María is back in the country, but she is having a hard time finding her husband Juan.

Aperitivos
María drinks aguardiente and sobs while her friends try to find out what happened. Leo, Juan, and Enrique go camping, but nothing is as they expect. María asks her friends to invoke "code red", but Ana becomes furious.

Entradas
Ana asks if they can start over again, and they all do their best. They're all enthusiastic about dinner, but the peace is short-lived, and it is not long before tensions rise between Ana, María, and Flora. Leo and Enrique are still trying to deal with Juan's heartbreak. Tina unveils one of María's secrets, which reveals one of Ana's.

Plato fuerte
Faced with such an absurd situation, Flora and Tina make fun of their friends, which triggers another argument. Flora throws up, which raises yet a new suspicion. Leo, Juan, and Enrique decide to drink and smoke. A final confession from Flora upsets Ana.

Segundo plato
New revelations provoke deep conversations among the friends. Tina plays some dance music and orders the four of them to call a truce, as they perform one of their old choreographies together. Juan seems to be in better spirits and parties with Leo and Enrique. After having a few drinks, Flora stirs things up again, which results in an accusation that pushes Tina out of her comfort zone.

El postre
Leo, Juan, and Enrique face a setback that stops them from leaving. Things at Ana's house are not going well, and while having dessert, an unexpected twist sparks a battle. The friends spew out all of their feelings of envy and pain until they have nothing left to say. They're all feeling so shameful, it's difficult for them face each other.

Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
