Episodes

High Adventure
A lost hot-air balloonist, two skin divers trapped in an underwater cave, and a wandering buffalo at the Lighthouse Bar present the initial challenges for the rescue team.

The Great Boat Race
This show offers a wonderful mix of humor, heart, and adventure. The heroes face several emergencies, including a comatose diabetic boy trapped in a car with a dog guarding him, a rampaging drunk who is revealed to be a Los Angeles cop, and a honeymoon ship that is sinking. These events all unfold alongside the island's annual "Great Summer Boat Race."

Mutiny
This episode's plotlines include two youngsters stranded on a homemade raft, a bootlegger, and training some buddies in a volunteer fire department.

A Federal Case
Federal agents alert Island police chief Robinson to the presence of weapon trafficking within his jurisdiction. The gun-smuggling gang takes the federal personnel prisoner before he can intervene.

The Invaders
An old woman who is trapped in a fire needs to be rescued by the squad. Locals are enraged and intimidated by a boisterous motorcycle gang, which prompts them to enforce the law on their own.

The Firebug
George's former girlfriend visits him. Fires are being started throughout the island by an arsonist in the meantime.

Suzy's Day Off
On her day off, Suzy works harder than ever as she and the Code R team aid several accident victims. Suzy is thrilled to get her first day off in six months, but she does not have much time to unwind since she has to aid a man who is stuck in the sea in his dune buggy, save a horse that has escaped, and use her skills to lead the Coast Guard and Lifeguard to the location of two boaters who are unconscious.

The Drifter
A supposedly abandoned baby who fell into a well and Ron Garrison, a visiting yacht owner whose disrespect for local regulations has resulted in a dangerous fire, have added to the island's population over the Fourth of July weekend.

Grounded
Walt looks forward to seeing his brother Mitch, his nephew Greggie, and Mitch's new spouse Karen, but his happiness is short-lived as Mitch's private plane arrives late and is seen crashing on a remote island.

Beauty and the Beach
Two judges, Rick and George, are completely focused on the island's first annual beauty pageant, but a mine shaft cave-in, a sailboat catastrophe, and an automobile disaster, among other things, divert their attention.

Black Out
When the island's electrical power goes out and there is an immediate threat to life and property, the Island Rescue Forces realize they have a bigger task than they can manage and must enlist the help of their neighbors. During the blackout, a farmer runs the risk of losing his whole harvest, a couple is stranded in an elevator, multiple people require emergency medical assistance, and two robbers attempt to use the ineffective burglar alarms.

The Aliens
Three unidentified foreigners are found unconscious on their boat; in a separate case, a young boy is locked in a freezer. The group must conduct detective work to ascertain what transpired after three individuals washed up comatose on the strand. Rick finds himself in the middle of a blossoming romance; George is given the unpleasant chore of putting up a dangerous World War II mine; and three foreigners who have been adrift in a small boat for weeks are comatose when they wash up on the island.

Decisions
When fix-it man Alvin Purdy contemplates retirement and leaving the island, Rick is given a job on the mainland, and George is confused about how to handle his most recent amorous experience; it appears that decisions are the norm.
