Intelligent detective drama with a story of impossible love threaded through the gripping plot. Ruthless serial killer Brian Wicklow has been in prison for 15 years when he announces he's finally prepared to reveal where his youngest victim is buried. But, as expected, the cold-blooded killer plays a game of psychological cat-and-mouse with detective Eve and her colleagues, sending them on several false trails. Eve finds herself drawn to her old friend Jake, who is trying to rebuild his life after serving a jail term for killing his wife and her lover. Their feelings for each other intensify, but when Jake helps her crack the case, it only reminds her of what he himself has done.
