Colin & Justin's Hotel Hell - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Episode 1
In the first episode of this new series, they leave their city life in Toronto for the wilds of the eastern seaboard to follow Justin's dream of becoming hoteliers for the first time. Their first project is to design and transform one of the guest suites so that they can set up a website to obtain bookings. They also start work on the separate restaurant building, which is a corrugated shed. They have big plans to install floor-to-ceiling windows at the front and overhaul the inside. But they face huge problems getting supplies to this part of the world and, as winter closes in, a storm floods the hotel. They also have to get to know the locals with their different ways of working and socialising, including going to their first ‘kitchen party'. Faced with mounting bills, power cuts and delays, Colin questions the wisdom of their decision and their relationship is severely tested, but can love conquer all?

Episode 2
Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan are two months into their project, but with winter coming and problems mounting, the restaurant build is under way, despite the escalating costs. Now they just need a chef to run it and they try out David, who has been working in pest control since he lost his chef's job in the pandemic. Colin and Justin are also renovating the reception area and want to make it more welcoming with a gift shop, so they visit a local sawmill to find timber shelves made from wood from the surrounding forest.

Episode 3
The pressure is on Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan to pull the team together and get the hotel ready on time with just nine weeks until it is meant to open, but there is a mountain of work to do and everything is a priority. The pair also want to bring a touch of metropolitan glamour to rural Louisbourg and are planning to build the town's first cocktail bar.

Episode 4
With just weeks to go, many of the 22 guest suites are still being decorated and having furnishings installed. But despite having their plates full, Colin and Justin have decided to take on more last-minute projects.
