This special examines the multi-car accident involving Caitlyn Jenner (known as Bruce Jenner at the time of the crash) that resulted in the death of 69-year-old Kim Howe. Swirling around the incident were claims that Jenner was driving distracted as well as questions about whether paparazzi pursued him so aggressively they played a role the crash. On February 7, 2015 Jenner was driving his black Cadillac SUV while towing an off-road vehicle along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when he rear-ended Howe’s white Lexus, pushing it into oncoming traffic and head-on into another vehicle. Caitlyn Jenner: Collision Course pieces together the chain of events that led to the crash using footage from the scene, police records and interviews with eyewitnesses and members of law enforcement who responded to the crash. CGI reenactments provide a detailed look at how it all unfolded while celebrity insiders discuss the most provoking and controversial elements surrounding the incident.
