Students at the University of East Anglia, Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson, wanted to be rock stars, but via Hackney Council and Harry Enfield's Television Programme they came up with the idea for a comedy show of their own.

Series charting the history of the best of British comedy shows looks at the Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton-penned newsroom sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey. With graphics tracing the careers of all involved and interviews revealing the inner workings, we find out who took a pay cut to ensure that the entire cast were on the same money and how hard the writers had to fight to keep the actors they wanted when Channel 4 expressed doubts about the casting.
Shooting Stars
Series charting the history of the best of British comedy shows. Shooting Stars was one of the most anarchic and unpredictable gameshows on British TV. Appearing alongside Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in their slice of slapstick, surreality and silliness were acerbic stand-up comedian Mark Lamarr and erstwhile weather girl Ulrika Jonsson.

Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live is an Emmy Award-winning late-night comedy showcase.
Since its inception in 1975, "SNL" has launched the careers of many of the brightest comedy performers of their generation. As The New York Times noted on the occasion of the show's Emmy-winning 25th Anniversary special in 1999, "in defiance of both time and show business convention, 'SNL' is still the most pervasive influence on the art of comedy in contemporary culture." At the close of the century, "Saturday Night Live" placed seventh on Entertainment Weekly's list of the Top 100 Entertainers of the past fifty years.
Lioness
Lioness, inspired by an actual U.S. Military program, follows the life of Joe while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA's spear in the war on terror. The Lioness Program, overseen by Kaitlyn Meade and Donald Westfield, enlists an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism in the CIA's efforts to thwart the next 9/11.
Bob's Burgers
The series follows Bob who runs Bob's Burgers, with the help of his wife and their three kids. Bob has big ideas about burgers, but the rest of the clan falls short on service. Despite the greasy counters and lousy location, the Belchers are determined to make every "Grand Re-Re-Re-opening" a success. Bob's wife, Linda, stands by her man and often does so by bursting into song. Their eldest daughter, 13-year-old Tina has a slight obsession with boys and zombies. Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
