Along the way, she encounters Yin Feng, a criminal psychology professor who is injured and suffering from amnesia. The two form a detective duo. With his mind reverted to a youthful state, Yin Feng, innocent and passionate, gradually opens up You Mingxu's heart, which had been closed off due to losing her mother at a young age. During their investigation, Yin Feng displays exceptional skills in criminal psychological analysis, while You Mingxu relies on her extensive experience and keen intuition. With Yin Feng's help, they solve multiple cases, growing from strangers to a well-coordinated team, and eventually, they develop feelings for each other.
Yin Feng regains his memory, revealing a cold exterior but still harboring deep feelings for You Mingxu. However, he deduces that his own brother might be the one who killed You Mingxu's mother years ago. To unravel the mystery of You Mingxu's mother's death from nineteen years ago, the two uncover the truth. Ultimately, the long-buried secrets come to light, and the real culprit is brought to justice.
