In the opening episode, Marshall Cuso shows up in NYC with a mushroom that can cure any disease or injury, and bumps into his old classmate, Frances. But what Marshall doesn't realise is that Frances works for Reutical, a big pharmaceutical company.

Lakeshore Limited
Marshall is on the run, trying to flee New York; Frances confides to her boss, Rick, about the mushroom; Rick sends her to Marshall's farm to get more, but the situation gets out of hand.

Hildy
Marshall seeks advice from his old mentor, Hildy. Copano and Harrington are drawn further into the mystery of the mushrooms obtained at the raid. Frances has gone to Geneva with her boyfriend Nick (and Rick) but can't resist the call of the mushroom.

Dumpsite
Marshall buys a plot of land near a chemical waste site with a plan to grow more mushrooms. Meanwhile, Frances rushes home from Europe after a huge development. Copano and Harrington investigate a connection between Marshall and Frances.

Star-Tel-Lite
Frances and Marshall attempt to grow the last of their mushroom supply, hoping their plan works. Copano and Harrington, surveilling Frances and Marshall, run into danger when confronted by a neighboring BMX gang.

In the System
Marshall arrives in jail and learns that some very important people refuse to let him out, while danger lurks around every corner. Frances makes a fateful decision. Copano and Harrington pick up the pieces.

Blowfish
Marshall is rescued by another inmate, but now Marshall owes him a favor. Desperate to get out of prison, he works on a risky plan when he runs into a surprising ally. Frances grapples with a life-changing event.

Amelia and Wyatt
Marshall finds himself in a new circumstance that changes everything, leading him to reunite with an old friend and start a new plan. Frances finds herself torn in the wake of terrible news.

Cliff's Edge
Marshall discovers what Hildy has been up to, but obstacles remain. Copano and Harrington zero in on Marshall's location ...

Raid
The FBI/DEA raid the compound, resulting in awful consequences. The fate of the mushroom is decided.
