Episode 4

After the body of local photographer Jenny Westlake is found dead lying among the stones at the popular tourist spot, The Nine Virgins, Cooper and Fry are called in to investigate. As the detectives learn about the belief that the stones represent women who danced on the Sabbath with the ability to grant wishes, suspicion focuses on those close to the ‘old religion'.

As Fry links the death to a similar attack on a woman, Maggie Crew, weeks prior, confidence mounts that this could hold the key to finding the murderer. But only if Maggie can remember.

Receiving hostile responses from local farmers, Cooper and Fry hit dead ends. But when the burned body of a man is found nearby, a truth begins to unravel that sends shockwaves through the team.

As Cooper begins to finally get a breakthrough in the unsolved murder of his Dad, renowned detective Joe Cooper, Fry comes face to face with her past and the man that has plagued her fears ever since arriving in Edendale.
