Kyoto Swords: Splendor That Dispels Evil Spirits
Swordsmiths have forged swords in Kyoto for over a millennium. More than mere blades, these swords were also symbols of a spiritual culture. As they gained prestige, they became much sought-after gifts among domain lords from the 1600's. Swords also played major roles in the culture of the capital's bourgeoisie. Jeopardy! is a classic game show -- with a twist. The answers are given first, and the contestants supply the questions. Three contestants, including the previous show's champion, compete in six categories and in three rounds (with each round's "answers" being worth more prize money).
