In the programme Sally Dynevor reveals how, when growing up, her and her family were fans of Coronation Street and how it was always her dream to be on ‘Corrie'.

Memorable moments and classic storylines involving the Street's eccentric cafe owner over the last 25 years, including David Neilson's thoughts on playing such a recognised character. The programme reveals David's first-ever appearance on TV in a 1976 episode of police show Z Cars and he reflects on how, at the age of 46, he was preparing to give up acting altogether when he got what he thought was going to be a small part in Coronation Street.
