Doug feels constantly compared to Cat's late husband. Scott reveals he's triggered by Brendon's drinking because his father was also a heavy drinker, but Brendon is unmoved. Polly and Stef clash over parenting styles.

Episode 2
Doug admits he can't fix Cat's car while living in her late husband's shadow. Brendon denies having a drinking problem after telling Scott he wishes he was with his ex. Stef finally speaks up and confronts his fears of upsetting Polly.

Episode 3
Marryam processes the betrayal Doug feels about having a framed picture of Cat's late husband in the bedroom, while alcohol is the third person in Scott and Brendon's relationship. Meanwhile, Stef loves his new approach with Polly.

Episode 4
Doug can't please Cat and she feels lonely. Brendon has cheated and Scott initiated a revenge threesome. Polly and Stef explore spending more family time together, but Stef struggles to clearly express his needs and goals.

Episode 5
Doug can't show emotion, while Cat needs attention and affection, leaving her question her commitment. Scott turns up to therapy with another bombshell. Polly is hurt and confused by Stef's lack of interest in her 30thth birthday.

Episode 6
In the season final, the couples sit down for their final sessions with Marryam.
