Crime Story (1986-1988)
The saga of a Chicago police detective's efforts to stop a young hood's ruthless rise in the ranks of organized crime. Former cop Dennis Farina plays Lt. Mike Torello, a no-nonsense cop who, as head of Chicago's Major Crime Unit in the early '60s, occasionally finds it necessary to bend the rules. The serial follows the relationships between Torello, rising mobster Ray Luca (Anthony Denison) and lawyer David Abrams (Stephen Lang), the son of a former gangster.
