Stage 1
The Criterium du Dauphine is the traditional warm-up race for the Tour de France so all eyes will be on Chris Froome, looking for his fourth win in five years. Centred around the Alps, stage one starts and finishes in St-Etienne. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 2
Stage two heads to Arlanc, and is one for the sprinters, though there are four categorised climbs along the way. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 3
Stage three sees the peloton race 184 km from le Chambon-sur-Lignon to Tullins. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 4
Stage four is an individual time trial from la Tour-du-Pin to Bourgoin-Jallieu, which will be a first test for the contenders for overall victory. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 5
Stage five sees the riders race 175km through Beaujolais to Macon. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 6
Stage six is big day in the mountains, ending on the Mont du Chat, a climb almost 9 km long with an average gradient exceeding 10 per cent before a treacherous descent to the finish. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 7
Stage seven, from Aoste to Alpe d'Huez, avoids the usual hairpins as the riders take a route up the Col de Sarenne before tackling the final four kilometres of the legendary climb. Presented by Gary Imlach, with commentary by Ned Boulting and David Millar, and reports by Daniel Friebe.

Stage 8
The final stage from Albertville to Plateau de Solaison is a tough mountain stage, starting with Col des Saisies, followed by les Aravis and la Colombiere, before the final eleven km ascent to Plateau de Solaison.
