Miss Piscina
In 1958, Annie, a beautiful 22-year-old girl, is elected Miss Piscina. Her father, Silva Pais, is a man from the Salazar dictatorship and her mother is a futile woman. Mother and daughter have a difficult relationship. Raymond Quendoz, a diplomat, arrives in Lisbon to be posted at the Swiss Embassy. He meets Annie and they marry two years later. Meanwhile, Silva Pais is nominated by Salazar to be the new general director of PIDE. Annie, who doesn't share her father's political views, is outraged and worried at the same time. But an unexpected event trumps all that: her husband is posted to Havana, Cuba.

Me Gusta El Che
Annie and Raymond land in Cuba in October 1962. Annie is dazzled by the Havana lifestyle and the Cuban revolution. Raymond begins his work at the Swiss Embassy. A week later, the "Missile Crisis" erupts. Annie and Raymond begin to have some heated arguments due to their opposing political views. In Portugal, the PIDE begins planning "Operation Autumn", the capture of the alleged enemy of the regime, General Humberto Delgado. Meanwhile, in Cuba, the couple's relationship deteriorates. To make matters worse, during a reception at the Dutch Embassy, Che Guevara pays Annie a compliment that makes her blush.

Soy Cuba
Annie is platonically in love with Che Guevara. Raymond, for his part, is increasingly jealous. But the situation gets even worse: After learning that Annie was treated by René Vallejo, Fidel Castro's personal physician, for a sprain, Raymond loses his temper. The two argue and end up slapping each other. Aware of the situation, Laurita Bosques, one of Annie's best friends, invites her to spend 15 days in Mexico City. In Portugal, Operation Autumn begins". The plan allegedly goes wrong and what would have been the General's capture turns out to be his murder. However, when Raymond says goodbye to Annie at the airport, he could never imagine that he would be the last time in his life he would see Annie.

A Filha Rebelde
October 25, 1965. Raymond is waiting for Annie at the Havana airport on her way back from Mexico City. He is holding a bunch of flowers to give Annie for their 5th wedding anniversary. But Annie doesn't arrive. She disappeared. Raymond then starts an investigation into Annie's whereabouts, which takes him close to madness. Annie's parents are devastated. Two months later, Raymond is sent back to Switzerland. At the same time, Annie's parents receive a letter from her saying that she has applied for political asylum in Cuba. Completely ashamed and devastated, Silva Pais makes his position available, but Salazar does not accept his resignation. Finally, in the first days of January 1966, Annie returns to Havana, accompanied by René Vallejo. But she is another woman!

Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité
Annie, already in her role as a Cuban citizen and revolutionary, starts working at the Tricontinental Conference as a translator. Her parents are heartbroken and want their daughter to return to Portugal. Nita travels to Havana in order to bring Annie back, but her mission is a failure. Mother and daughter stop communicating. The consequences of "Operation Autumn" continue to hurt Silva Pais. But the worst is yet to come: on April 25, 1974, the Portuguese revolution takes place and Annie's parents are arrested.

A Última Lágrima
Silva Pais is arrested. Nita is for the first time alone in the world. Annie returns to Portugal to be close to her family and the revolution. Silva Pais' trial begins and the court accuses him of the murder of Humberto Delgado. Annie feels bad and has an emergency operation. Her health is fragile. Nita leaves for Havana to be close to her daughter.

In each episode of Guy's Grocery Games, four talented chefs compete in a number of challenges as they navigate their way through the aisles of a grocery store, adhering to "real-world" obstacles.
