Season 1
The Pit (Çukur), that İdris Koçovalı has built with his own hands, is the heart of İstanbul; in fact it is Istanbul! There's no room for any danger that could threaten the neighborhood. Yamaç is a daytime chemist and a nighttime musician who has ran away from this neighborhood years ago for some reason. The young man's life changes as their paths cross with Sena who is a feisty personality like himself. While the two of them are dragged into a passionate love affair; The Pit is on the verge of a storm with Vartolu's arrival. The same storm will drag Yamaç towards The Pit and his past that he has abandoned a long time ago. After all everybody will ultimately return to The Pit.

Season 2
It's the end of an era in The Pit. Although İdris Koçovalı's words saying, "They think that The Pit is in Istanbul but they don't know that Istanbul is in The Pit" echo in the destroyed streets of the neighborhood, there's no sign of those days. The condition of the Koçovalı's who lost power after an unexpected attack is still unclear. In the meantime, the Dark Sheep gang ruled by Çeto and Mahsun will start a new era.

Season 3
The Koçovalıs are facing the greatest sorrow of their lives! As a result of Yücel’s set up Yamaç or İdris are forced to shoot the other. Nothing will ever be the same in The Pit. The cards will be dealt once again as Akın Koçovalı takes control while Baykal’s daughter Efsun comes to the neighborhood. The plans of Efsun who cooperates with Azer, Yücel and Crocodile will be highly anticipated. Akın and Azer’s gathering will raise questions. Sultan’s request from Vartolu Sadettin will shock the viewers. While thinking that he’s one step ahead Yücel will unexpectedly face a life threatening trap.

Arık Böke, who took over the leadership from his brother Çağatay Erdenet, came to the neighborhood and confronted Yamaç Koçovalı showed that nothing will be the same for both Koçovalı and Erdenet families. In the Erdenet family, the most powerful enemies of the Koçavalı family ever, Cengiz Erdenet is runing the show now.
