Happy Tears
When hedonistic 24-year-old Gemma discovers that she is pregnant after a one-night stand, she has no choice but to turn to her hapless father, Malcolm, for support. A sweet-but-lost man in a domestic crisis, Malcolm must learn to rebuild his relationship with his daughter. And so it only makes sense for Gemma and Malcolm to move in together - what's the worst that could happen?

Normal Men
Gemma realises she needs more female support as Malcolm is a challenge to live with. Gemma suggests Malcolm finds a normal friend after Derek tries to make him a hit with ‘the ladies'. After a chance encounter with Cherry, Gemma agrees to go to a party to try and reconnect with girls from school. Malcolm starts to develop a new friendship with Stuart and tries to woo women with close-up magic.

Sugar Daddies
Gemma receives dodgy life advice from her incarcerated sister Catherine and Rita, her alcoholic boss. Worried that she will be having the baby alone, Gemma enlists Cherry to help her find a suitable, ideally rich, father for her unborn child. Meanwhile, Malcolm thinks he has found love with a woman online. Gemma educates him on the perils of catfishing - but Derek encourages Malcolm to meet her.

Garden Sliders
Gemma attends birthing classes led by a very eccentric antenatal teacher. Realising she needs more support, she seeks advice from her aunt Jess, Malcolm's sister. Malcolm and Gemma are invited to Jess and her domineering husband Tyrone's new house for a party. Malcolm is scared of Tyrone, who intimidates him with his new hot tub.

Man Mess
Gemma bumps into an old flame and realises she still has feelings for him. She introduces him to Malcolm, who tries to impress him. Malcolm tries to retrieve his belongings that Davina had left in the loft when she sold the old family home, but the new owners refuse to let him in. Derek hatches a plan for Malcolm to break into the house and retrieve his stuff.

Sadie
Malcolm and Derek throw Gemma a baby shower. Derek surprises Malcolm with an escape room for his birthday, where they are kidnapped off the street. Xander discovers Gemma in labour. Unable to reach Malcolm, and with no one else available to be her birthing partner, Xander steps in. Malcolm and Derek struggle to escape the extremely complicated escape room. Will Malcolm make the birth in time?
