J.R. tries to question Jessica about Clayton's past. Vaughn Leland threatens to pull the plug on the money for Cliff. Clayton warns Jessica that J.R. can be dangerous. Katherine and Bobby celebrate the successful purchase of Wentworth land by Ewing Oil. J.R. overhears Clayton and Jessica talking about a secret. Pam is a little disappointed that Mark wants such a big wedding. Sue Ellen questions Pam about why she changed her mind and decided to marry Mark after all. Clayton tells Donna and Ray that he thinks Jessica is just too direct and unpredictable. J.R. pays oil crewman to slow down Cliff's drilling operation.
