Dance Moms: A New Era - Season 1

A new era of Dance Moms begins as the next generation of the Junior Elite Competition Team from Studio Bleu hits the stage. The pressure is on from their instructor Glo, their moms, and the dance world as these seven dancers try to shatter expectations.

Reeling from a 6th place loss, the team focuses all their energy on an emotional group dance. Chaos ensues at competition when new mom Corrine realizes messing with queen bee Tammi was more like kicking a hornet's nest.

When Glo gambles on putting Audrey on pointe in a difficult ballet routine in Atlantic City, no one can predict the shockingly unlucky turn of events at competition. Meanwhile, Ashlan is assigned a solo to defend her spot on the team. 

Audrey gets benched after her injury and Tammi ghosts the team. Glo considers bringing in a new dancer, sparking fear throughout the studio. Meanwhile, when frenemies Domenica and Roxce go head-to-head over their daughters' trios.

Recovered from her injury, Audrey plans to reclaim her top spot until Glo brings in new dancer Gina. Emotions run high after Glo cuts a dancer from the group dance. Meanwhile, Mina is forced to grow up and say goodbye to her best friend.

With Nationals in mind, Glo makes Gina a member of the team and will cut anyone who isn't delivering. Smiley and Leilah's spots at nationals are in jeopardy. While the stress of the competition causes Ashlan to reach a breaking point.

Glo challenges the girls with her most difficult dance to decide who competes at Nationals. Roxce and Jing go to war when Bellatrix is pitted against Gina for solos. After Ashlan threatened to quit last week, she is presented with a difficult choice.

All eight dancers perform as a group for the first time where Audrey must complete a precarious trick. Mina is challenged with a difficult spy-themed solo while Ashlan is cast as a beauty queen in hers. It's anyone's guess who will come out on top.

The Team heads to Regionals in Miami. In an unexpected twist, Glo splits the girls into two group numbers to compete against each other. Tempers flare as Audrey and Gina go head-to-head in a bid to lead the group at Nationals.

It's Nationals. Glo puts on the most dramatic routine of her career, challenging Ashlan to deliver the performance of her life. Gina and Audrey's solo rematch causes cracks in the team, which leaves everyone wondering who Glo will bring back.
