Dancing on Ice - Season 5

Season 5

The fifth series of Dancing On Ice began airing on ITV on 8 January 2010 with a preview show, then started officially on 10 January, and concluded with the final on 28 March 2010. The show was presented by returning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. A new Dancing on Ice companion show called Dancing on Ice: Friday was hosted by Ben Shephard and last year's contestant Coleen Nolan. Four of last year's judges returned – Karen Barber, Nicky Slater, Jason Gardiner, and Robin Cousins. West End star Ruthie Henshall left the show after only two series, and was replaced by Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton. The series was finally won by Hayley Tamaddon and Daniel Whiston, beating Gary Lucy into second place and Kieron Richardson into third place.

Malory Towers

Based on the hugely popular book series of the same name by Enid Blyton, Malory Towers is a live-action series following 12-year-old Darrell Rivers as she leaves home for the first time to attend an all-girls' boarding school. Set in the 1940s on the sun-drenched cliffs of the Cornish coast, Malory Towers explores this nostalgic world of midnight feasts, lacrosse, pranks, and lasting friendships. For a contemporary audience, the show is both aspirational and inspirational, telling the story of universal experiences include shifting cliques, FOMO, bullying, crushes, peer pressure, and self-doubt. The girls keep an eye on each other and, like a family, are forever connected by their shared experiences.

EastEnders

EastEnders

Set in the East End of London, the show focuses on the tensions between love and family with stories ranging from hard-hitting social issues, to personal, human tragedies. And there's plenty of funny moments too.

Classic characters old and new across thousands of episodes have shared a drink in The Queen Vic, shed tears of despair or joy, sat on Arthur's bench in the Square... and at some point or other they probably crossed paths with Ian Beale.
