Dans de beaux draps - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Jusqu'ici, tout va mal
Justine and Rémi Blanchet are preparing to marry their daughter Capucine to the mayor's son, Enguerrand Laville. This union will grant them access to the holy of holies, the very exclusive Club Ravel, of which the groom's parents are prestigious members. Their perfect plan, however, presents a problem, and not a minor one: Justine discovers during a surprise visit to her office that Rémi lost his job six months ago. When she learns that a wave of burglaries is sweeping the neighborhood, the mother has a crazy idea: fake a burglary, copy the modus operandi of real burglars, and file a claim with the insurance company. She ends up convincing Rémi, or rather forcing him, to follow her in this madness...

Mal assurés et trop anxieux
The Blanchets manage to escape from their attic and return home. Everything seems to have gone well until they discover, to their horror, that their insurer, supposedly a friend, has defrauded them and that they are not covered. Out of options and burning with revenge, the Blanchets decide to rob the thief by copying the exact method used by the gang behind the recent wave of burglaries. The only problem: Kathy Malinski, a meticulous and tenacious police officer, is leading the investigation...

Un très cher club
Although now full members of the Ravel Club, a rumor is circulating, claiming that Rémi is an imposter and that he is unemployed. More than ever, they must prove that they belong. At the New Year's party, Justine and Rémi dress up to dazzle their guests, but caught up in the excitement of the moment, Rémi bets his (fake) luxury watch in poker... and loses it. Justine then makes him realize, but too late, that when his poker partner discovers that the watch is fake, he will be unmasked as an imposter, once and for all! At the same time, Rémi is in deep trouble for his stupid shoplifting: Kathy, a police investigator and caring friend, asks him to go to the police station as soon as possible to help identify the suspect from a composite sketch... His own.

Crise conjugale
A new, more intimate and pernicious threat weighs on the Blanchets: Gauthier Gouget, the club's treasurer and Count d'Argenson, is making persistent advances toward Justine. Already devastated after learning that his former assistant has taken his position at Young and Brothers, Rémi's ego is shattered and he ends up retreating to the farm where he grew up. Justine, determined to prove her love and eager to punish the arrogant Gouget, sees no other solution than to burglarize him. Investigators discover a highly compromising clue at the scene of a burglary: Justine's asthma inhaler...

L'étau se resserre
Everything seems to be looking up for Rémi and Justine when Mayor—and future father-in-law—Georges Laville announces that the burglars have finally been arrested and offers Rémi a strategic position at his side. But the real burglars, who were wrongly accused in their place, retaliate by kidnapping Grandma Michelle, Rémi's mother, in order to force the couple to commit one last burglary that night, targeting none other than Benoît Saintonge, the highly respected president of the Ravel Club. This burglary is riskier than ever: Kathy Malinski, convinced that the Blanchets are copycat burglars, hides a GPS tracker in Justine's asthma inhaler and follows them... when their own children follow them to the scene of their future crime...

Blanchet VS Laville
Hidden and cornered, Justine and Rémi overhear Benoît Saintonge's suspicious conversation with the Mayor. Back home, they face Capucine's anger and learn that their son Pierre-Marie saved them from Kathy Malinski's surveillance. And faced with Kathy, who finally openly accuses them, Rémi and Justine claim that they've been investigating Georges Laville for a long time. Jérôme then reveals that he, too, was investigating the same corruption case, because he's a police officer... to Rémi's shock. But when the Blanchets return to Benoît Saintonge's house to save their skins, they're greeted by the smug criminals as their new recruits...
