Following last orders at The Rifleman's Arms, two local men made the short walk from the pub to one of their homes. In a seemingly unprovoked attack, both were bludgeoned to death with a coal pick, the house turned into a blood bath. The killer was never caught and 50 years later, the murder remains unsolved. Yet what clues remain in the community today that may lead to the murderer being identified? The Dark Land team re-examines the case.
