Petofi/Quentin is not affected by Evan's incantations. Quentin/Petofi, Edward, and Judith are in the drawing room chatting about Trask and how he lied about visiting Judith at the sanitarium Edward tells Judith about the woman (Amanda) that Trask brought into Collinwood while Judith was gone. Evan begins to dig in the graveyard on a new patch of land. Trask arrives at Collinwood and Edward talks to him not mentioning that Judith is back. Trask says she is much worse didn't even know him when he visited her at the sanitarium. Trask sees Judith and freezes and .Edward tells that he just told him that she was not well. Petofi/Quentin tells Evan the grave he is digging is for Evan to be buried alive.
