In 1979, four-year-old Heidi disappears without a trace in Kolding. Heidi has never been found and police are still at large in the case. The year before, 13-year-old Line was abducted in Lyngby. Police find her killed after three weeks. Both the abduction of Heidi and the murder of Line are unsolved, but the cases must never be forgotten. In both cases, we are pursuing the search to find important witnesses who can bring new information about both cases. We have gained access to the Travel Team's confidential journal of Heidi's case, and former Travel Team Manager Hans Jørgen Bonnichsen and several other police officers and witnesses stand up and tell about clues and important turning points in the case - clues that lead all the way to today with new angles and new knowledge about 'The Forgotten Girls'.
