Season 1
Fidan Ekiz will travel to countries, dictatorships and areas of conflicts to visit independent reporters, papers and TV-stations. She will have a chat with those courageous who dare to speak truth in a dictatorship and will join them while they perform their work duties. They encounter life threatening situations, but why did they choose for a career like that?

Turkije
Fidan will go to Turkey, where she used to work before as a correspondent.

Oeganda
Fidan Ekiz travels to Uganda to meet Ntege Williams. He is a very poor, but courageous video journalist. Ugana is ruled by president Museveni for more than thirty years. It is suppose to be a democracy with freedom of press, but the reality is far from that as there is abuse of power, corruption and nepotism.

Colombia
Fidan Ekiz heads to Colombia to meet up with Henry Ramirez, which is a local journalist in one of the most dangerous cities in South America; the harbour city Buenaventura. It is the biggest sea harbour of Colombia and that's why it attracts some powerful gangs. The penniless city suffers from it.

Myanmar
Fidan Ekiz travels to Myanmar, in which a small TV station is trying to beat the dictatorship in an etnical torn country.

Rusland
The small Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015. Fidan Ekiz visits their editorial office when camera's are ready waiting for the announcement of the Nobel committee. Even though all prices may be great, they do not replace the colleagues who have been killed by just doing their job.

Hong Kong
Fidan travels to Hong Kong in which free press is slowly being controlled by communistic China.
