Nicolas is niet in zijn gewone doen. Hij heeft dan ook een belangrijke beslissing genomen. Na negen jaar wil hij Debby ten huwelijk vragen. Maar volgens de traditie moet hij eerst aan Jean-Marie de goedkeuring vragen. En dit maakt Nicolas ongelofelijk zenuwachtig. Lyndsey heeft een fotoshoot voor Victor Veilig, een project voor de verkeersveiligheid. Met de opbrengst ervan wil Lyndsey een goed doel steunen. Na een positief gesprek met Jean-Marie, laat Nicolas er geen gras over groeien en gaat hij met vriend Koen op zoek naar een verlovingsring. Een telefoontje van Debby dreigt zijn plannen echter in de war te sturen. In de ouderlijke villa babysitten Carmen en Jean-Marie op Keano en Liam. Carmen heeft groot nieuws voor Keano want er is een liefdesbrief voor hem toegekomen. Debby en Nicolas genieten ondertussen van een romantisch dinertje. Tijdens het etentje bouwt hij de spanning zo op dat zij er ongemakkelijk van wordt. Maar ook Debby heeft een verrassing voor Nicolas in petto.
