Deadliest Catch - Season 22

In the season premiere, the captains find a rare strain of red King crab in the north amid crushing ice and violent storms. Sig deploys an underwater drone to pinpoint the horde. Jake revives the legendary Cornelia Marie to battle perilous northern seas.

With no port for shelter, Johnathan fights to protect his crew as Typhoon Halong pounds the northern grounds. Rick's Red King jackpot halts when a line fouls his prop. In 25-foot seas, Jake discovers the limits of the Cornelia Marie's fishing operations.

After joining forces, Sig and Jake set their boats on a collision course. Crew tensions explode on the Time Bandit, leading Keith to lure Freddy back to the Wizard. When the Aleutian Lady's exhaust stack bursts into flames, Rick must fight fire with fire.

When the Time Bandit's freezer fails, John makes an emergency trip to St. George Island to feed his hungry crew. Sig and Jake lure crab to their own side of a maritime boundary. Rick battles a perplexing engine issue amid the biggest waves of the season.

A dream leads John to a crab hotspot, but a rival trawler shares the vision for filling its own massive nets. Keith's crew races to save the Wizard when seawater breaches the engine room. On the Northwestern, Clark gets dragged across the deck by an erratic crane.

When a rogue wave pummels the Wizard and sidelines its crew, Keith reconsiders the risks he's taking. Racing to make an offload, Sig loses a deckhand to a crushed toe. Rick finds crab but needs new tactics to fish a seafloor bristling with old crab pots.

When Monte discovers Keith set pots in an illegal zone, he and the Wizard crew must pay the price in blood and treasure. A storm reconnects Jake to the larger-than-life hero of the Cornelia Marie's past. Johnathan gambles on a million-dollar fall season.

When Sig's crane blows a hydraulic line, Clark ascends the rig in 20-foot seas for a critical repair. The Cornelia Marie crew battles a fire as Jake's engine room fills with smoke. Monte fights a generator outage while Rick dumps pots to avoid capsizing.

In the winter season premiere, Sig teaches Sophia how to captain the Northwestern at the Russian line. Jake stacks the Cornelia Marie for a risky trip north. When a crab boat sinks near St. George, the Wizard is the only vessel close enough to reach it.

When Wizard deckhand Lynn Guitard falls overboard in 15 foot seas, Keith and Monte scramble to rescue him before hypothermia sets in. On the Northwestern, Sig lets Sophia prove herself at the Russian line. A greenhorn joins the crew of the Aleutian Lady.

On the Aleutian Lady, greenhorn Todd's abscessed tooth forces Rick to consider a costly return to Dutch Harbor. Sig hands new protégé "Bob" the helm for her first-ever opilio season. Johnathan performs surgery-at-sea on his favorite Time Bandit shipmate.

As Arctic ice wreaks havoc on the fishing grounds, Rick risks losing a fortune in crab pots. Johnathan tests the Time Bandit's reinforced bow in a desperate attempt to save the gear. A health crisis on the Wizard forces Keith to make a life-or-death call.

Captains Sig and Sophia shift their fishing strategy as back-to-back injuries plague the Northwestern deck crew. When a Time Bandit crewman suffers a concussion, John must make a perilous harbor entry. Jake loses power in heavy seas on the Cornelia Marie.

Captains Sig & Sophia locate hybrid crab, hitting the jackpot -- but filling their tanks creates an imbalance, putting the Northwestern on the brink of capsize. After OJ receives tragic news at sea, the Time Bandit crew races incoming ice to get him home.

Sig's crew races to jettison pots and repair a flooding compartment below deck. Rick radios Johnathan to help hide his honey hole, but when Jake spots the Time Bandit's unusual movements, he calls Rick's bluff and puts the Cornelia Marie on hot fishing.

As Jake sets gear in heavy seas, a painful skin infection spreads among the Cornelia Marie crew. Sig cleverly sets in a "col" between two storms, but pays a price when he returns to haul. As the ice line overruns 22 of his pots, Rick faces a $100K loss.

On the Time Bandit, Johnathan delegates dentistry duties when his brother Neal's dental implants fail far out to sea. Battling 25-foot waves, Keith leans heavily on his co-captain Monte. Rick must reverse course after his greenhorn suffers a head injury.

As 25-foot breakers pound the fleet, critical systems fail at the worst possible time. Sig's engine runs wild, Jake loses power, John's crane cracks and Rick must replace a lackluster deckhand, opening the door for the return of a favorite greenhorn.
