James Alden is a washed-up investigative journalist making trashy documentaries when he lands the interview of the decade with Natalie Varga, who is suspected of murdering her rich Hungarian husband. She tells him that if he finds the killer, she'll give him the exclusive everyone wants.

Episode 2
Natalie tells James that she has just seen her supposedly dead brother Oliver, who went on the run after borrowing from drug dealers in Budapest. Determined to uncover the truth, James heads to Budapest, but he is not alone.

Episode 3
James has a terrifying flight to Budapest, and once he arrives in the city, he tracks down people from Natalie's past that can help him get closer to the truth.

Episode 4
Everything James thought he knew has been turned upside down. He returns to London to pursue the killer, but he has been fired from his job and no-one believes his stories of what happened in Budapest. James still refuses to drop the case, but can he prove who the real killer is? And what is it going to cost him?
