For the third time in less than 2 years, a gunman was able to get close to Donald Trump with the intent to assassinate him. Later, Nicolle covers how the Trump administration is accusing the left of inciting political violence. However, history shows that Donald Trump is the one who has often encouraged political violence in his own rhetoric.
5pm: Nicolle Wallace covers King Charles' visit to the White House, which comes on the heels of another instance of political violence in the U.S. this past Saturday when a gunman stormed through security at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. The King's visit also comes during a strained relationship between the U.S. and the U.K., especially since the beginning of the war in Iran. Later, Nicolle covers how the Trump administration is facing a resounding rejection of its cruel immigration policies.
