Two stories feature Southern wives desiring love--and money. First, country-girl Cristie Sehorne and her husband, Lee, have two children and live in Florida. When her husband dies, she's thrilled to find a second chance at love with sweet and funny family friend, David Leath. But when David also ends up dead, detectives begin unraveling the long and complicated story of Raynella's two marriages, two wills, and the truth behind what really happened to her two deceased husbands.
