Growing up, Beth Winters was caught between two warring parents, her Catholic mother Catherine having married her Protestant step-father Billy when she was already pregnant by an unknown Catholic man.
On her 23rd birthday, her mother long dead, Beth has planned to escape the claustrophobic grip of Billy and their closed community by running away with charming, mysterious Liam Ward. But with the hour of reckoning fast approaching, can Beth hold her nerve?

Episode 2
Beth decides to tell Mercy that she's leaving Fermanagh, but Mercy protests and exclaims it will break her heart - and Billy's too. Beth puts her plan to run away with Liam into action but a suspicious and very drunk Billy questions Beth: is there anything she has to tell him?

Episode 3
Planning on eloping with Ward, Beth steals Billy's gold and leaves. The Dummy stops her and issues a dire warning. Who is out to hurt her and why? Beth will have her vengeance.
