DI Goodman's love life might be lacking, but his considerable intellect and experience are tested to the full, as he faces some of Saint Marie's most perplexing murders yet.

Episode 1
Goodman and the team are left stumped when millionaire environmentalist and scientist Dan Hagen is shot on his boat while out at sea. The evidence seems to point to a robbery gone wrong, but with no other boats reported in the surrounding area, Goodman suspects foul play by one of Dan's crew. But with the other four members of the group diving on the coral reef and in plain sight of one another at the time of the murder though, how could any of them have committed the crime?

Episode 2
The outgoing governor of Saint Marie is poisoned at her leaving party, meaning the team have to step into the shady world of island politics to solve the case. DI Goodman begins online dating.

Episode 3
When a young star is strangled in the middle of a fashion show, DI Goodman finds himself embroiled in the high strung world of modelling. JP bumps into a familiar face from his past.

Episode 4
Dwayne's old mentor is found dead and the only clue the team have to work with is that there's a text message indicating this was a murder. DI Goodman tries unleashing his inner gourmand.

Episode 5
DI Goodman's aunt Mary comes to visit him, but things take an unexpected turn when she becomes the only witness to the murder of a tourist. Some unorthodox advice on love from Dwayne leaves JP in a spin.

Episode 6
A well-known chef is murdered in his own restaurant. Florence has a last lesson in love for DI Goodman. Dwayne has a chance of repaying an old debt.

Episode 7
Having taken part in a successful mission to find the legendary Saint Marie silver, a marine salvage teams' celebrations come to an abrupt end when its Captain is discovered dead on the beach with a stab wound.

Episode 8
A student backpacker called Sian Evans is found dead in the showers of the hostel where she has been staying. With a gun in her hand and her body slumped against the only door, it looks like that she committed suicide. Her wash bag and toiletries have been laid out but her towel missing meaning everything might not be as it seems.
