Deb tests nine singers' endurance with vocal coaches Brandon Barnes and Regina Love; after revealing past traumas, Deb assigns beats and music journals for their first song challenge; when rumors trigger a meltdown, Deb decides to send a singer home.

After a vocalist reveals a secret, Deb introduces studio time with producer Cisco but when eight vocalists divide the house, Deb gets to the bottom of the rumors. Deb sends two vocalists home and surprises one with the golden mic.

Behind the Mask

Messy as Hell
Deb awards the golden mic to the winner of a vocal challenge and the gloves come off when she delivers challenge #2 that questions the final 6 vocalists' alliances; after hearing the vocalists' grievances Deb decides to send two singers home.

Deb sets up a media challenge at Hot 97 with DJ Drewski and sends her season 1 winner Rocky to meet the final four vocalists; when the pressure intensifies, a vocalists hits her breaking point, shaking up the competition.

Gone With the Wig
Deb has a confrontation with Kim; will Kim be able to gain Deb's favor? The final three call friends and family while they prepare for the final challenge; Deb asks for makeovers for everyone; Amber's sensory issues make it especially challenging.

Deb is going to pick a winner at the prestigious R&B ball; the remaining vocalist rehearse with a live band in preparation of the big night; will the stress get the better of these young competitor's?; which one of our three finalists will it be?
