Welcome to the Nursery
Dali Delico is an aristocratic vampire who's been neglecting his duties at work. When some of his associates visit him one day to confront him about it, however, they find him taking care of a small child...

Creeping Intrigue and Child-Rearing
In exchange for agreeing to accept the case, Dali demands that the investigators establish their base of operations in his nursery, forcing them to help with both the mission and child-rearing.

The Approaching Shadow
Pendulum, a criminal organization that worships the progenitor vampire known as TRUMP, now seems to be involved in the case—and Dali just so happens to have some unfinished business with them.

Battle Amidst Flames
After discovering who the parents of the lost children are, Kiki gathers the members of Pendulum for an assault on Johannes's manor and absconds with both the children and the lord of the house.

Thus Spoke Juras
After he deduces that the bandaged member of Pendulum, Juras, is a survivor of Nebula Village, Dali seeks out another known survivor in pursuit of a lead.

The Battle of Gray Cat Town
Dali learns from Banri that Juras is in Gray Cat Town. Meanwhile, the members of Pendulum, who've taken the children hostage, find that they have their hands full looking after them.

How to Kill God
Dali and his team uncover Pendulum's hideout and rescue Lord Johannes along with the children, but now Clara and Ul have been kidnapped...

The Clan Festival
Pendulum is after a teacher by the name of Krauss—TRUMP's alter ego. In order to prevent them from making contact, Dali and the team rush to the Clan.

Sweet Dreams
As a dhampir, Juras doesn't have long left to live. In an attempt to kill TRUMP before he expires, he uses his cocoon phase power to enter the deity's mind.

Goodbye, Nursery
With the string of vampire murders perpetuated by Pendulum now resolved, Raphael realizes his responsibilities as an older brother and vows to act as Ul's guardian when he grows up.

The Ministry of Time
The Ministry of Time, a newly established government department, is gathering ‘expats' from across history in an experiment to test the viability of time-travel. Commander Graham Gore (an officer on Sir John Franklin's doomed 1845 Arctic expedition) is one such figure rescued from certain death – alongside an army captain from the fields of the Somme, a plague victim from the 1600s, a widow from revolutionary France, and a soldier from the seventeenth century.
The expats are placed with 21st century liaisons, known as 'bridges', in unlikely flatshares. Gore has to learn about contemporary life from scratch: from air travel to industrial warfare, from feminism to Spotify, from cinema to indoor plumbing; and he must negotiate cohabiting with the ambitious modern woman who works as his bridge. After an awkward beginning, the pair start to find pleasure and comfort in each other's company, developing a relationship that is simultaneously tender, intense and profoundly unprofessional; and the expats, adrift in a new era, form friendships that ground and support them in the lonely 21st century, where they have outlived everyone they ever knew and loved.
When a deeper conspiracy at the Ministry begins to reveal itself, the bridge must reckon with what she does next. Will she save or sacrifice the exiled misfits she has come to care for so deeply?
