Die letzte Reise

Pia and Jan are newly in love. And yet they are different from a normal young couple. Both are terminally ill. And one of her last big wishes leads her to Ellmau. The adventurous Pia, who suffers from a severe immunodeficiency and doesn't have long to live, really wants to climb up the Felsspitz on the Wilder Kaiser one last time, which made a big impression on her as a child. She and her boyfriend Jan, who also suffers from a deadly brain tumor, want to enjoy the time they have together and travel before they die. But Pia collapses on the mountain, and Jan's headaches also get worse. Bergdoktor Martin Gruber orders further examinations - and can't believe it: Jan's tumor has encapsulated itself and will shrink, so Jan will get well again! Provided he undergoes immediate radiation therapy, which would upset his and Pia's Australia travel plans. But how will Pia react to this surprising news? Jan doesn't have the heart to tell her the truth and thus loses valuable time. Kahnweiler and Vera took little Jens-Torben from the home for a trial period. But while Alexander gets along well with the mini-Kahnweiler and is already reveling in the joys of fatherhood, Vera is certain: the boy has to go back to the home! Susanne has finally told Hans about the job offer as a teacher at a renowned cooking school. He's shocked. Will she actually move to Vienna with his daughter and Tim? Hans can't allow that. He stakes everything on one card and plays poker. Meanwhile, Martin and Anne go on an unexpected date. Somehow there is still a certain tension in the air that Martin can no longer deny. What's going on between them? Martin seeks Roman's advice again. But the die is cast and Martin and Anne end up getting closer than they thought.
