Mord am Penser Joch

In the 14th Bolzano thriller, Chiara Schoras aka "Capo" Sonja Schwarz not only has to solve a contradictory murder case, but also has to bring to light a secret that painfully binds two families inseparably. Meanwhile, Sonja's love for the mafia hunter Riccardo, played by Stefano Bernardin, threatens to fail due to his risky undercover assignment, which not only represents an official dilemma for the impulsive head of the Bozen Criminal Police Office, but also increasingly throws her into conflicts of conscience. "Verspieltes Glück" is the first of two new films in the successful series, which recently attracted more than six million viewers and is characterized by complex cases and a visually powerful and suspenseful narrative style.
The gambling addict Vitus Höllrigl (Claus Peter Seifert) and the rich hotelier Staffler (Miguel Herz-Kestranek) clash on the racetrack. When Höllriegel was found stabbed to death in his woodcarving the next day, inspector Sonja suspectedSchwarz (Chiara Schoras) and her colleague Jonas (Gabriel Raab) the businessman who runs the renowned "Staffler" with his daughter Gabriele (Angelina Häntsch) and his son-in-law Toni (Max Wagner). The investigators learn from a witness that the heavily indebted Höllriegel obviously wanted to collect a much higher "debt" from his creditor. Sonja tries to find out more about Höllrigl's daughter Edith (Katja Studt), who has broken with her father. The investigator is deeply moved by the pressing financial worries of the single parents whose son suffers from incurable muscular dystrophy.
