A gruesome murder case brings Mick and Andreas right into the heart of the vegan food industry. While Andreas tries to stay sober, Mick rubs everyone up the wrong way. Injured ex-lovers, bankrupt competitors, and abandoned business partners all come under suspicion. But who has a motive for murder—and how far does the web of lies extend?

Rapper X-Kray stages the death of a police officer in a music video—until the blank cartridge suddenly turns into a real bullet. His friend, the extra Mirko, dies in front of the camera. Mick and Andreas know who fired the shot. But who loaded the bullet into the gun? The trail leads into the world of gangster rap, where image, money problems, and loyalty merge.

The wealthy Isabelle Lumpp is found stabbed to death in an elegant villa. At first, everything points to a robbery-murder, but since there are no signs of forced entry, suspicion quickly falls on those who had access to the house: her ex-husband, the housekeeper, and the gardener. Mick and Andreas begin searching for clues amid greed, hurt feelings, and false alibis.

At a costume party at the police station, colleague Freddie Fröse is murdered. Investigators find a golden apple in his hand. The case takes a fairy-tale turn when four women in Snow White costumes become the prime suspects. One thing is clear: the perpetrator must still be in the building, and the only one who wasn't there at the time of the crime must take over the case—Mick.

At the "Pink Power" women's breakfast, successful influencer and feminist Katinka Bruckner is murdered. And although the murder took place on stage, no one saw anything. The investigation reveals that many people had something against Katinka: offended corporations, frustrated executives, and even her own husband.
