Konrad Braach is found murdered in the pond of family management. Prosecutor General Bernd Reuther realizes that the family dynasty apparently has its own rules of the game. Was Konrad the heir to the throne killed by his brother Henry in the dispute over his father's successor? When Viktor Lukov, the patriarch's driver, gives Henry an alibi, Reuther realizes: Gernot Braach himself stirs up the competition for his successor. The seriously ill entrepreneur soon became the focus of the investigation when Chief Commissioner Kerstin Klar and High Commissioner Max Fischer discovered that the victim had secretly worked for competitor Sophia von Stern.

Reuther is convinced that Gernot Braach himself would never have been able to commit the brutal murder. What is really behind Konrad Braach's violent death? Reuther must remain persistent to uncover the truth.
