On Design Hunting, Andy and Shaula search for designs rooted in regional history and climates. This time they visit Niigata Prefecture, where clean water and mountains create rich soil that's the foundation for a food culture of rice and sake. The prefecture is home to Tsubame-Sanjo and other manufacturing towns. We also visit the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field which has grown into an international art festival.
